Once you have purchased your payphone, you will be issued with an GI number and the Saicom Payphones banking details. A minimum amount of R59 must be deposited to enable you to start selling phonecalls. These phone calls are charged to the customer at 90c per minute for calls within South Africa and R2,90 per minute for international calls. The cost of the airtime for these calls to you is significantly lower that the selling price to the end customer, which means as soon as the call has been made the profit is in your pocket.
